NOBLE COURT HOTEL
Classified as a historical monument in 1910, the Hôtel de la Noble Cour was built in the 11th century and once housed the castle, and had both a financial and administrative role, bringing together fifty-four localities plus four cities under its control: the Noble Cour. The hotel was not spared from the many events of history (revolts, fires, war, battles) and was rebuilt in 1634 after the great fire of 1630, and from the Grand' Place you will not miss its 16th century Renaissance façade, while on the garden side you will see its typically Flemish architecture. The Landshuyd (as it is called here) has been home to the Museum of Flanders since 2010.
