Wooden and warm restaurant in an authentic place in Douai.
A warm and cozy restaurant that has been home to an old house in the seventeenth century. You can tell you that you're going to eat in an authentic place, rich in stories. The atmosphere is friendly, almost family-friendly. You can taste delicious chef specialties, inspired by northern cuisine: Carbonade, potjevleesch, welsch… The whole together with crispy fries most of the time. A very nice address!

Le restaurant est bien situé dans le centre-ville. L'accueil et le service sont extrêmement agréables; les propriétaires sont joviaux et ont beaucoup d'humour. La carte est variée, sans trop s'éparpiller, et reste très régionale. La cuisine est vraiment excellente, les portions très conséquentes, pour un rapport qualité/prix très correct. Goûtez par example la ficelle picarde, suivie d'un welsh royal pour finir avec une tarte au libouli. Vous ne resterez pas indifférents à ce petit endroit chaleureux, que je recommande sans hésitation. Nous y avons passé un moment inoubliable.
