HÔTEL IBIS * * *
Hotel in the heart of Douai with small but well appointed rooms, including breakfast.
Located in the heart of the old Douai, the hotel, classified as a historical monument, is a 17th century building, former mansion of the governor of the cannon foundry. The hotel Romagnant, of its original name, looks with all its presence at the pretty Saint-Amé square, located not far away. Inside, the rooms are certainly small, but very well equipped. They could probably do with a facelift. Breakfast is served in one of the hotel's superb vaulted cellars, with an all-you-can-eat buffet offering sweet and savoury specialities.
