Restaurant with a soft and warm atmosphere at very reasonable prices in Dunkerque.
When a restaurant is almost full on a Monday lunchtime (which was the case on the day we came!), it's a very good sign. We had booked by phone to test the welcome (friendly), we did well! The Rest'O Soleil is a sure bet on the Malo-les-Bains dam with a very interesting map. Yes, there are mussels, meat pies, burgers and welsh, but it would be a shame not to try the fish dishes with their original accompaniment, which often makes a nod to Asia: half-cooked tuna pie with sesame and vegetable wok, fried scampi with garlic and chilli with black rice, cod back in a chorizo crust and tagliatelle with pesto. For those who want to discover Northern shrimp croquettes, they are also à la carte. In summer, the salads are original and rather copious. The service is neat. The Rest'O Soleil room is modern and very bright, it offers a panoramic view of the beach. The atmosphere is soft and warm. A good address for a gourmet meal at very reasonable prices.
