If you are passing through the region and you want to taste the culinary specialities, in Dunkirk itself, there is only one estaminet. The Flemish Estaminet offers you many regional and traditional dishes such as Flemish carbonade, chicken with maroilles, welsh, Flemish tripe with white beer and juniper, all accompanied by chips and in a typical setting, where witches and china objects coexist. Large menu of hot toast gratinated. While having an aperitif or at dessert time, you can try out the traditional Flemish games. For dessert, you can enjoy a gourmet gingerbread, waffles, a traditional chicory crème brûlée or a lost brioche.

La déco atypique d'un estaminet est très chargé mais dépaysante. Le service est passable mais moins accueillant que ce que l'on attend de l'accueil du nord.
Déçu par le repas, les entrées sont basiques, les plats sont bons mais les desserts sont à éviter (beaucoup d'industriel). Pour les amateurs de bière, ne surtout pas prendre la bière du menu, horrible on dirait de la kronenbourg.
Bilan mitigé, je ne recommande donc pas cet estaminet.
