OUTLYING DISTRICT
The Rosendaël district is home to an extraordinary architectural experience, imagined by François Reynaert.
It is in the Rosendaël district that we find the expression of an extraordinary architectural experience, imagined by François Reynaert (1887-1958). Born in Rosendaël, the visionary artist imagined a district with an original architecture. His first project was the villa L'Escargot (rue Carnot) in 1927, which was to become his home. Each project has its own theme: Les Cigognes, Les Cubes, Le Pylône... Each house has its own colours, curves and references to its identity and some of them are listed as historical monuments.
