SHELL CASTLE
Château Coquelle in Dunkerque hosting a cultural center that organizes workshops, cultural practice courses and exhibitions.
Nestled in a beautiful garden, Château Coquelle takes its name from Félix Coquelle, mayor of Rosendaël in the early 20th century, who had it built. Although it looks more like a splendid manor than a castle as such, this Basque-Byzantine style residence contains more than 25 rooms. Today, the Château Coquelle is home to a cultural center that organizes workshops and courses in cultural practices (dance, drawing...) for all ages. It also proposes exhibitions (sculptures, photographs...) and shows all year long.
