The Dunkirk market is held twice a week, on Saturdays and Wednesdays. The market, which has moved several times, is mainly located on the Place du Général de Gaulle, the Rue des Sœurs-Blanches and the Cours François-Bart. It has between 130 and 160 stalls (depending on the season) on Saturdays (and about 60 stalls on Wednesday mornings), and offers all types of shops and especially small producers. At the time of the carnival, several stands propose all that it is necessary to renovate its clet' che (disguise) or to compose its panoply.
