TRATTORIA CHEZ GINO
At Gino, it is a small grocery store with all the markers of Italian cuisine: pasta, delicatessen, cheeses (burrata on weekends!), wines and spirits. But it is above all a trattoria. And having it installed on rue du Sud is not something you can make up! The origins of the boss's parents are precisely Naples and Taranto in Puglia, in... southern Italy. From one cardinal point to another, there is only one framework. The establishment is decorated with photos of actresses such as the beautiful Claudia Cardinale, but also with black and white views of Italy. You can find the colour in the catering section. The dishes change from one day to the next: there are certainly pizzas, but it is better to look at the dishes that you are not used to eating: Italian-style stuffed crab, linguine alle vongole, panzerotti, sweet potato with Taleggio, Milanese escalope, lemon chicken, polpette (Sicilian meatballs), ravioli... The prices are generally displayed per 100 g. Possibility to eat on site. Open on Sunday mornings. A small dessert section with the must-have pana cotta, tiramisu or baba Amaretto, just to finish on a sweet note.
