ANDRÉ-LARRODERIE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Archaeology in the Marmandais region has its own museum. To be visited in particular for its collection of objects.
Prehistory, Iron Age, Gallo-Roman, Merovingian. The site tells the story of the Marmand region. More than 700 objects are presented thematically and chronologically: pottery, sculptures, coins... The permanent exhibition "50 years of research in the Marmandais" is the fruit of discoveries by volunteer archaeologists and deposits by private individuals. A medieval house undergoing renovation will soon be added to the museum. An archaeological walk is also available.
