CHATEAU SAUVAGNERES
Located on the doorstep of Agen, the former estate of Jacques Thérasse clings onto the slopes, in the eastern tip of the buzz appellation area, which includes the best soils. This vineyard, known from the Middle Ages, was an integral part of the high country Bordeaux, following the Graves zone. The soil is argilo-limestone and argilo-limonous on slopes and gravel on croups. Today by the grandsons Pierre and Olivier Thérasse, vineyards, planted with black merlot, free cabernet and cabernet-sauvignon, produce 40 ¥ hl to 50 ¥ hl of red wine, depending on the years. Comes from a wine typed, subtle and warm, round and shrub. It finds its full development between 5 and 10 years, depending on the vintage. In fact, the Buzz Rouge glittered this and there some medals.
