Bistronomic menu for lunch and gastronomic menu for dinner according to the inspiration of the chef Véronique for a sophisticated address.

La Source was an obvious choice for Véronique Melloul and her partner, Sophie Robin. The view is breathtaking and Petit Futé never tires of watching the Lot river flow by. Véronique works with seasonal products and buys from local producers and breeders. The bistronomic menu at lunchtime is sophisticated and refined, like the lamb mouse cooked for 36 hours at low temperature or the trilogy of mackerel in tempera, lacquered and roasted. In the evening, the chef has carte blanche to create a gastronomic menu that changes from one dish to another, in 3, 4 or 5 courses.

Exceptional! a magnificent setting with a breathtaking view over the Lot. It is quiet, relaxing, welcoming and the cuisine is magnificent. It is very good and very beautiful which lets tempted by the menu tradition (snail casserole and gizzards. a real treat, Shoulder of lamb Lot which cooked 36 hours! a monument tenderness and flavours) or by the menu creation (tartare octopus on a melon bed... a festival! - red mullet with stew squid to chorizo... the same) and desserts in finesse. With, an efficient service smiling and a fine selection of wines by the glass. In short, no false note. it is rare. Really top, I spent a super moment.
The food is good, but the prices exaggerated especially for the wines.
The decor of the dishes, and friendly setting are paid.
The lunchtime menu - is suitable for small appetites - for the paid price, elsewhere, less trendy meal, but more substantial.
