Bio-Topia Dunkerque park with a playful course, organizing many animations according to the age of the children.

This park gathers 250 animals of 70 species from the French and European fauna. Vultures, owls, falcons, great cormorants, Alpine ibex, reindeer, brown bears. Come and meet them as you walk along a fun trail, organised into marine, mountain, marsh, exotic and rural biotopes. It is fully in line with the logic of modern zoological parks, whose main objectives are to ensure the conservation of species and biodiversity, to develop scientific knowledge on behaviour, and to raise awareness and inform all audiences about the protection of nature and animals. A better knowledge of the species held in captivity (feeding, reproduction, behaviour) is fundamental to fully contribute to the protection and preservation of threatened specimens. The park, with the otter, the curly pelican and the bald ibis, is part of the European Endangered Species Programme (EEP). It also collaborates in various studies on European fauna, notably by being part of several networks: EAZA, AFDPZ, AFVPZ. In partnership with the actors and structures of the coast, it is part of a network of initiation and education to the environment contributing to present the fauna and flora of the protected natural areas of the territory. Numerous activities are organised according to the age of the children. They can also attend the feeding.

Sympatique
