Typical Flemish style restaurant offering brasserie style cuisine with a pleasant welcome in Hazebrouck.

It is impossible to miss La Taverne d'Hazebrouck which proudly stands on the Grand Place of the city. With the two French fries barracks just in front of it, the setting is set, you are in Flanders! The restaurant was once a café in the typical Flemish style. The establishment was transformed in the 1980's but traces of it remain, as the old décor with the old woodwork shows. The modernity is in the plate with a very beautiful effort of presentation. The dishes are simple, but always of good quality!

J'ai choisi l'os a moelle en entrée facilement 45 minutes avant de le recevoir 3 cercles de pain dur à ne pas savoir le manger, l'os avait énormément de gras à l'intérieur, puis 45 minutes pour avoir le plat. Il n'y avait pourtant pas énormément de monde à notre arrivé. Endroit bruyant, des gosses qui font du bruits à vives voix mais les parents s'en occupent pas, ils sont sans doute aussi dépassé...

Personnel très sympathique et cuisine délicieuse. Une très découverte culinaire et humaine. Le patron sert en salle et celui ci est très sociable prends le temps avec les clients et mets tout de suite à l'aise. A essayer et réessayer car tout à l'air très bon. Nous étions à 7 et tout le monde c'est régalés, en plus les produits sont frais et c'est de la cuisine faite maison a un prix abordable. Bravo à toute l'équipe je reviendrai !

It is a restaurant where the cuisine is rather refined it is far from the prototype tavern. The service is neat decor is nice and you can eat well. It is a pity it is taken fire last year ..... because it was a good place
