A discreet village in the Agen countryside, Sauvagnas is well worth a stop at Claude and Fred's restaurant. Their local cuisine is sure to satisfy, from the Chef's country terrine with reblochon cheese as a starter, to the casserole of confit pig's tongue with spicy sauce, veal pavé and gratin dauphinois for the main course, and apple French toast cake or chocolate fondant for dessert. The house specialty remains Fred's burger with chopped steak, escalope of foie gras and foie gras sauce: a real treat.
