TOWN HOTEL
A hotel destroyed and then rebuilt in Flemish neo-Renaissance style, featuring a drawing room with coats of arms.
The town hall of Houplines is considered one of the most beautiful works of the famous Lille architect Albert Baert. Destroyed during the First World War, it was rebuilt in a very Flemish neo-Renaissance style. In addition to its exterior, this majestic building has a most remarkable hall of honor, featuring the coats of arms of Houplines and its Rhineland twin, Kirchhundem. Its geographical location connects the historic district and the industrial part built around the textile factories.
