Brasserie offering a regional and mastered cuisine in Cateau-Cambrésis.
It is in the heart of this magnificent old Benedictine abbey renovated into a brewery that the Brasserie du Cateau is established. Here, the cuisine is local, seasonal, generous and of high quality, accompanying marvelously well the twelve Vivat beers available on draught. The menu is epicurean and northern: welsh, maroilles pie, chicken filet au gratin and beef steak. The desserts are not in rest and give as much envy: home-made sugar pie, cup of ch'nord or a greedy coffee. The ideal place to (indulge) yourself!

Aujourd'hui, c'était comme d'habitude, repas
excellent, le service très bien, cette fois,. bonne température intérieur, la galette frangipane, à tomber par terre, une boisson offerte ????. À très bientôt
Cependant la directrice de restauration n'est pas tres acceuillante, démontrant une attitude peu accommodante et un langage malpoli/familier en refusant des clients.
Petit bémol: salle un peu bruyante
