HOTEL DE VILLE ET LE BEFFROI
Town hall with Flemish style architectural aspects in the main street of Cateau-Cambrésis, with a belfry, a carillon.
Located in the heart of the main street of Cateau-Cambrésis, the town hall (and its belfry) is a remarkable building that is impossible to miss in the urban landscape! Built from 1553 (1705 for the belfry), it has remarkable architectural aspects that are not without reminding the Flemish style as the ridge triangle of the gable called "à pas de moineau". The carillon, which dates from 1716, still rings and still, giving rhythm to the life of Cateau with its notes!
