This museum has the distinction of having been created by the famous Fauvist painter himself. During his lifetime, he donated eighty works that today make up the permanent collection. A must-see for painting enthusiasts... In addition to the artistic aspect, the vast residence in the heart of Cateau-Cambrésis is also well worth a visit. The museum is currently undergoing a major renovation and expansion. It is due to reopen on July 1, 2024.

Belle visite culturelle
Très beau musée ! J'y vais régulièrement et je ne m'en lasse pas. Les expos temporaires sont aussi très intéressante. L'été, nous pouvons également nous promener dans le beau parc.

Nous avons bénéficié d'un "atelier-guidé" avec enfants, très intéressant pour mieux comprendre les techniques utilisées par l'artiste. Le lieu est magnifique. Les environs aussi. Peu fréquenté, à recommander !!!
