Le Manège has the particularity of being a theater recognized as a national stage since 1991, but above all a cross-border cultural center bringing together Maubeuge and its neighbor Mons, in Belgium. Founded and directed by Didier Fusillier, this theater works for the democratization of culture and the quality of programming. Not only are several creations presented each season, but several dance or jazz festivals have earned an international reputation. The most famous is a street festival which takes place at the end of June: the Folie's.
