LA SALLE STHRAU
Hall built in the century, hosting dance and music shows in Maubeuge.
A true architectural jewel, the Sthrau Hall has undergone many changes. Built in the 17th century, it was first the chapel of the Jesuit College, then became a ballroom, a stable and a museum. Destroyed during the First World War, it was rebuilt by the Lafitte brothers in an Art Deco spirit and hosts dance and music shows. Closed for years for security reasons, it reopens in 2018 and becomes a cultural place not to be missed. It offers beautiful exhibitions and animations throughout the year.
