A friendly estaminet where you can sample typical Northern dishes. Ideal for a gourmet stopover in the heart of Flanders.
If we had to sum up this restaurant in one word, it would be conviviality. Managers Marie and Fabrice are on first-name terms with the (many) regulars. Of course, having been here for over 15 years, they know a lot of people! The red bricks and the decor are an immediate reminder that this is an estaminet, and the menu confirms this with all the must-haves of the North, including the carbonnade for which Marie and Fabrice won first place at the Flemish gastronomy festival. We also appreciated the soup offered on arrival. In short: fun and good!

Open Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays from 12pm to 3pm; Fridays from 12pm to 3pm and 7pm to 0am; Saturdays from 7pm to 0am. Reservations recommended. Menu: approx. €20. Children's menu: €10.50. Dish of the day: €10. American Express, Chèque Vacances, Chèque Restaurant. Groups welcome (up to 120 people). Garden. Terrace. Children's playground.

Accueil parfait, service professionnel et plat typique de la région succulent !
L'ambiance est également présente notamment lorsque différent groupe de musique sont là pour jouer en direct pendant votre repas ou encore avec quelques petits jeux pour les enfants comme un baby foot ou les tradionnels jeux flamands. On s'y sent comme à la maison ! (Il est fortement conseillé de réserver)
