Castle of the XIIth century on a large property, housing a company working in the cinema, many personalities lived there
Built in the 12th century, the castle is located on a 14-hectare property. It has been inhabited by many personalities. Its construction is attributed to a relative of Richard the Lionheart. Guillaume de Bellecombe, former commander of the armies of Louis XV and ambassador to the Bourbon Islands, lived there. Today, it belongs to Philippe Payet's Papaye company. This company is well established in the film industry and rents technical equipment (cameras, lighting, machinery, etc.) for feature films and advertising films.
