LA FERME SAINT-ANTOINE
The Saint-Antoine farm, whose origins date back to the early 20th century, is a symbol of a revolution in farm production, attempting to combine tradition and modernity, with a concern for ethics and quality. The small farm produces untreated vegetables (i.e. organic, but not officially certified) and respects the rhythm of the seasons. The farmers are committed to picking the vegetables only a few hours before they are sold in the store, so that they retain all their taste and vitamins! By appointment, children are welcome for guided tours of the farm (certified Ferme Pédagogique since 2011) and to meet the animals in the barn. Gardening, farm chores (feeding the animals, especially the cute little lambs, collecting eggs, putting straw in the hutches), everything is done to make young and old aware of the nature that surrounds them. The team even organizes children's birthday parties on ponyback.
