"It's like being at home here", Lek is wont to say. The locals know her jovial smile well. She was a fixture at the market before moving into a downtown location in 2023. Thai by birth, she passionately prepares recipes from her homeland, such as pad thai (stir-fried noodles), red curry chicken and beef sautéed with sweet chili pepper. Her menu is created daily according to the fresh produce she buys. On Saturday mornings, when the market comes to life in Tonneins, she offers grilled fish. On the spot or to take away.
