LE TOSCAN

"Le Toscan" is the bar-restaurant in the center of town where you can feel the pulse of Tonneins. Take your time drinking a coffee or a cocktail, or enjoying lunch on the terrace overlooking the pretty Place des Ecuries Royales. The arrival in the kitchen of Olivier Gineste (whom we met at the "Léopard d'Or" in Samazan) has raised the bar. From the bluefin tuna nems starter to the speculoos-caramel banoffee dessert, not forgetting the fisherman's marmite or the duck breast risotto, it's a no-fail feat that's renewed every day with different proposals.
