LE PETIT GASCON
This traditional butcher's shop offers a very local recipe dating back to Louis XIII: Tonneins ham.
We could recommend Antoine Vico's butcher's shop for its tender meats from the Lot-et-Garonne region, its prepared dishes (salmon lasagne, stuffed cabbage...) and its local preserves such as duck confit and grattons gascons. But the town is best known for its award-winning boudin and its very local specialty, Tonneins ham. The recipe has been handed down from pork butcher to pork butcher for generations. It consists of ham, rind, cooking juices, garlic and a seasoning that Antoine keeps secret. A must-taste.
