Published by the city of Roubaix, Alternative is a magazine as we would like to see and read more often. Entirely in white, understand without any publicity, Alternative wants a condensed version of what the city of Roubaix has to offer - more original and unusual. The program? Meetings with those who make the city, portraits of artists, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, and locals, zoom in on local initiatives, ideas out of the city and, above all, superb photos of the city. In its latest issue, Alternative presents the revolution of Street Art in the city or even the Zero Waste policy put in place by the municipality and its inhabitants. It starts at the meeting of the curator of the Pool museum, a famous dancer, or even the founder of one of the European web hosting leaders. We also talk about cooking, creative leisure, sport, and culture. We do not want to say too much in order not to spoil you with the pleasure of reading, but one thing: this magazine really gives to see the city of Roubaix otherwise. Far from the prejudices and photographs that stick it to the skin, the city presents itself along the pages as a bustling city of amazing talents and places not to miss. A beautiful initiative by the municipality on which the other communes of France should take an example!
