AROUND SAINGHIN-EN-MÉLANTOIS
Go there and contact
This hike connects the two remarkable white stone churches of Bouvines and Sainghin-en-Mélantois. In this last city, the church Saint-Nicolas has a tower dating from the th century. In Bouvines, the church displays 27 th-century stained glass windows which illustrate the battle of 1214 July in a comic strip. This is the historic side of the walk. In the countryside, paths on the tarmac, in land or in schist and pavés, cross the Mark, cross woods, fields and villages to create a family walk at the gates of Lille.
