The astronomy club Uranie organizes several evenings of public observations during the year, on the occasion of classic Stars Nights, Science Days, etc., in Saint-Saulve, a few kilometers northeast of Valenciennes. Evenings during which you learn to locate in the sky and recognize the main constellations. In the event of cloudy coverage, pedagogical models are presented and the club's slide shows are proposed. Out of these dates and when the sky is cleared, do not hesitate to give a little visit to the observatory on the Friday from 8:30 p. m. the 355 mm telescope in diameter under dome is then usually set up for the greatest satisfaction of the observers.
