Le Paradoxe is on the first floor of the majestic Hospice d'Havré built in the 18th century. The contrast between the historical setting and the modern decoration is very successful. Since 2020 the place is divided into 2 spaces. On the bistro side (located in the former wash house of the hospice), a menu with some very affordable dishes for lunch or platters for weekday evenings. On the restaurant side, a more elaborate menu with some signature dishes. To test: the Black Angus beef cheek carbonade with Duc d'Havré and its fries. The service is pleasant and delicate.

Here, chef Yves Legrand and his team invite you to discover tasty, traditional, home-cooked cuisine. They carefully select local and seasonal produce, paying particular attention to the quality and freshness of ingredients. The restaurant menu offers a wide choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Signature dishes include Duc d'Havré-style welsh and Duc d'Havré-style Black Angus beef cheek carbonade. The establishment also offers aperitif formulas including charcuterie and fish platters. What's more, a wide selection of beverages is available to complement your culinary experience, allowing you, for example, to accompany your meal with a glass of wine or an Inspiration cocktail.
