AFROKAN
Afrokan (the voice of the African) is an association created in 2008 by Mikael Camara and Byshara Assoumani, two lovers of percussion and dance. The goal of this association is to disseminate African culture through workshops, internships, music and dance performances. The concept of the association: métissage. His staff, composed of members of different backgrounds (France, Senegal, Comoros, Algeria, Madagascar, Reunion…), the company Afrokan meets around a common passion: Culture mandingue. Afrokan innovates with a mixed style, enriched by everyone's experiences. The association offers dance courses and percussion courses for adults and children throughout the Lille metropolis and sometimes even France. Regular cultural projects are also organized: artistic creation, festival rythmik mandingue, dance courses and percussion in Africa, regular courses in France (dance and percussion).
