PROVEN JEANS FLAGS
This pavilion is a true testament to post-war research into social, modular and economical housing.
In 1952, the architect Jean Prouvé built two experimental "Métropole" type pavilions in Tourcoing. A true witness to the post-war research carried out on social, modular and economic housing, one of the pavilions has been entirely restored by Vilogia in scrupulous respect of Jean Prouvé's architecture. This pavilion has been listed in the inventory of historical monuments. Visits are often organized by the Tourist Office of Tourcoing and allow you to discover the history of this amazing architecture, as well as the stakes and secrets of its delicate rehabilitation. Experimentation and innovation are rooted in the history of the metropolis!
