Tourcoing's carillon is a historic monument dating back to the 16th century, as evidenced by its spiral staircase, housed in a turret and featuring stonework weathered by the passage of centuries. The bell tower houses France's4th largest carillon, with 62 bells. After climbing some 200 steps to a height of almost 40 metres, you'll discover a 360-degree panorama of Tourcoing and Lille in the distance. For history buffs, be sure to visit the Emile Gillioen room, named after Tourcoing's famous carillonneur.
