LOCAL HISTORY CENTER
This municipal museum was created in 1989. The collections are estimated at more than 25,000 pieces. They illustrate local and regional history from the Gallo-Roman era to the 1960s. It includes works of art, various objects, images and archives that provide an exceptional testimony to urban life. They are divided into 4 main fields: ethnology, photography, fine arts and historical documentation. The objective of this museum is to preserve and enhance the memory of the city and the inhabitants of Tourcoing, as well as their daily lives.
