IMA TOURCOING
An institute with architecture typical of the period in which it was built, offering concerts, cinemas, conferences and more.
The Institut du Monde Arabe in Tourcoing is very far from being just a decentralized branch of its Parisian counterpart. On November 17, 2016, the museum took over the premises of the former swimming school in Tourcoing. As soon as you enter the museum, you are struck by the architecture typical of the time the building was built. Only the ground floor can be visited for the moment. Concerts, film screenings, conferences, workshops, Arabic courses...: the IMA has a real mission of education and transmission, and a place of exhibition. A beautiful place to see!
