Right in the heart of old Villeneuve, on the Place d'Aquitaine market hall on the left bank, you'll find almost thirty organic producers (up to forty in summer). Market gardeners, bakers, beekeepers and pork butchers are all part of an eco-responsible approach, and have been since 1975: the Villeneuve organic market is one of the oldest in France. In summer, the market runs until 2.30pm, with the option of lunch (organic, of course) on site! A gourmet stop-off to discover the organic producers of this beautiful department.
