DOJO CLUB DE WASQUEHAL
The Dojo Club is located in a unique building in the region, which hosts many clubs in the city (judo, karate, aikido, gymnastics, strength, fitness, sauna…) and the sports service. This club is well known as it is the first club in the North and the second in the region. This is due to the quality of training, but also to infrastructure. The dojo is huge, with close to 900 seats. The Dojo Club is one of the clubs with the largest membership, with more than 300 licensees. Inaugurated by Natalina Lupino, emblematic Wasquehalienne World Champion in 1982 and Olympic medalist in 1992, the club also saw the champion of France Junior 2005, Steeve Lamarque, trained in Wasquehal. Every year in December, the club creates the event by organizing its "A"-certified tournament, that is, reserved for the best junior and senior people in the country, who come to their qualification for the French championships. In parallel, the club also develops its leisure group, where the beautiful share is made in Ju-Jujitsu, complementing judo oriented towards self-Defence.
