Les Restos du Cœur has more than 80 centres and 2,000 volunteers throughout the city. The very first mission of the Restos is food aid with two major annual campaigns in winter and summer. Then comes help for street people in the form of hot meals in the evening and marauding. The Restos also help to promote social integration through prevention campaigns, particularly in the area of health. Not to mention the offer of cultural activities and holidays for the most disadvantaged. But the Restos du Nord also deal with professional integration by fighting illiteracy, the digital divide, helping people to find work and creating integration projects.
