MUSEUM OF FOLK ARTS AND TRADITIONS
Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires (Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions) in Wattrelos, with a large permanent collection of objects from the past.
Housed in an old Picardy farmhouse dating from 1890, the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires (Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions) faithfully reproduces scenes from life in the past. You'll find a large permanent collection of objects that have disappeared from our daily lives. It's a journey back in time, to a classroom between the wars, while next door a weaver finishes his cloth. The North of past generations (from 1850 to 1950) is recreated with extreme meticulousness.
