BANDSTAND
Kiosk dismantled piece by piece by local craftsmen and reassembled on the square of Wormhout.
As in many towns in the North, the first kiosk in Wormhout was made of wood and was not really solid. It had to be replaced by a metal kiosk. But the new kiosk was not built in Wormhout, but bought from the town of Cassel in 1929. Cassel could no longer accommodate it because it was in the way of its urban development, so it put its kiosk up for sale, which was dismantled piece by piece by local craftsmen and reassembled on the square in Wormhout. The kiosk was inaugurated there on July 6, 1930 on the occasion of the communal festival.
