SAN MARTIN CHURCH
Gothic style church with three naves, forming an imposing building surrounded by the military cemetery in Arques.
Count Walbert had this church built during the 7th century, under the "reign" of Saint Bertin, the founding abbot of the town of Saint-Omer, who initiated many other constructions. The Gothic style, dear to this part of the map, can be found here, with three naves forming an imposing building surrounded by the military cemetery. Of note, the 12th century baptismal font and the 19th century organ case, as well as the 1776 bell tower.
