ARRAS CATHEDRAL
A cathedral of neoclassical style, located in Arras, classified as a historical monument, and housing some treasures.
In neo-classical style, this cathedral was erected from 1778. This impressive building gives a fair representation of the economic and spiritual role it has played over the centuries in the artistic and cultural influence of the city. Like many monuments in Arras, the cathedral was largely destroyed during the bombardments of the First World War and then completely rebuilt in 1934. Listed as a Historic Monument, it includes a 52-metre wide and 102-metre long transept and houses some treasures.
