In the th century, this place housed the old fish market. Moreover, the house of the company of ', which was installed in 1710, is still in front of the theatre. It was recently restored and still proudly shows two pilasters where are engraved a siren and a newt. This place saw many of its citizens lose their heads during the Revolution. That was where the guillotine was installed.
