This is the only shop in town where you can find the famous "Cœurs d'Arras" chocolates. For the history, the "Cœurs d'Arras" date from the 12th century. Dame Emma Crespin, whose family coat of arms represented hearts, owned a mill on the Crinchon (today's underground river) in the centre of Arras. His speciality: making heart-shaped pastries. In the 17th century, these pastries became chocolates. Their success still lasts, with dark or milk chocolate, with candied orange peel, they will delight young and old.
