Registered at the Historical monuments inventory, this former powder keg built in 1416 is one of the last vestiges of the city's fortifications. Vauban strengthens the tower in 1670 and creates a bastion. At the beginning of the th century, the artillery tower took the name of the founder of the Jesuit College, which was erected at the foot of the ramparts. Blaringhem College still exists.
