COMMUNAUTÉ D'AGGLOMÉRATION DU BOULONNAIS
Discover the jewel of the Boulonnais bocage, between sea, countryside and preserved heritage at Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Located around the agglomeration of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the territory of the Communauté d'Agglomérations du Boulonnais (CAB) is on the Opal Coast for about 27 kilometres. 17 of its 22 communes are part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Natural Park. Boulogne-sur-Mer, a port city of art and history, conceals much more than a two-thousand-year-old past. And its hinterland, which is easy to discover on foot, makes it a jewel of a seaside bocage. The Boulonnais is also a preserved fauna and flora, a lush green setting stretching between bocage and forest, through dunes and marshes. Everything is immediately accessible, sea or countryside. Between large trees of various species, beautiful stone houses compete with charm. As you walk along the paths, you will discover other stories combining architecture and nature.
