TOWN HOTEL
Sober neo-regionalist-style town hall built in Bruay-la-Buissière from 1927.
In 1925, the mayor, Henri Cadot, decided to build the town hall on the square that later took his name. In 1927, construction began under the direction of two Bruges architects, René and Paul Hanote. They gave it a sober neo-regionalist style that they enhanced with some Art Deco references. The belfry rises to 47.50 meters and one can discover a set of stained glass windows of 10 meters high and 2.50 wide. These stained glass windows, and the whole of the town hall, are listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments.
