Traditional restaurant focusing on fish and seafood with good value for money in Calais.

Welcome to a traditional restaurant. For nearly ten years, Serge Clabault has been running Le Détroit. Located in front of the quay, the establishment is of course a great place for fish and seafood. So, you can choose for example the cocktail of shrimps and prawns or oysters as a starter, monkfish medallions with green pepper or Normandy-style sole as a main course... But there are other great classics: duck confit, grilled rack of lamb, rabbit with prunes... Modern and comfortable setting, flowered garden, good value for money, here is an address to remember. Please note that a car park facing the restaurant will allow you to park your car easily.

Réservation à 20h pour 10 personnes 6 adultes 4 enfants nous avons attendu une vingtaine de minutes pour avoir la première boisson et après passer la commande de 4 menus enfants et moules frites on à eu 2h d attente sans avoir d explication donc nous avons étaient servi à 22h pour enfin manger c'est abuser à vraiment éviter comme restaurant

Lovely restaurant and great staff. Enjoyed a leisurely lunch over 2 hours and the menu of the day was good value. Ambiance excellent. With views of the ferries coming aid going. Will return.
