This is undoubtedly the most beautiful hotel in Calais. The majestic entrance is framed by wood, set carpet and antique chairs in an ancient patchwork of styles that gives this establishment the appearance of a manor. The grand staircase leads to the rooms. There are 39 in total, each has its style but all are characterized by their relaxed and warm elegance. The hotel offers rooms with whirlpool baths and the possibility of getting a massage upon reservation. The breakfast room which is completely renovated is located in the heart of the garden. The charm of the Hotel Meurice lies in the incredible balance where one feels at home and elsewhere! Please note, the establishment offers a reception room of 250 seats and meeting rooms for 10 to 15 people. One Monday every two months, the owner organizes a whiskey tasting with a meal in the hotel bar.

Bien situé à Calais, cet hôtel propose différentes catégories de chambres. Hélas, celles-ci méritent un bon coup de rénovation (surtout les salles de bains !). La qualité du petit-déjeuner n'est pas formidable vu son prix (15 euros) ! Certains membres du personnel sont aimables, d'autres beaucoup moins. Bref, je ne recommande pas cet établissement !
Nous avons du annuler car le tres petit garage était complet (sans information a ce sujet durant la procedure de reservation) et avions besoin d'un parking sécuriser ce soir la, l'hotel nous a promit qu'ils rembourserait, ce qui était la condition de notre annulation. nous nous sommes meme rendu a la reception pour recevoir la confirmation de vive voie.
ils n'ont simplement pas tenu leur promesse et étaient meme tres grossier au telephone avec nous et avec Booking.com
